Anemia

wp-1485464690294.jpg Found out 2 weeks ago that I have Iron Deficiency Anemia. I believe my doctor said the normal level for woman is 12.0 to 15.5 g/dL. I’m at 10.2 g/dL. I hate taking iron pills, they always make me sick to my stomach. I finally found some that I can tolerate. My doctor also wants me to take B12 and Vitamin C. I’ve been drinking organic beet juice. It has 30% of Iron and it tastes pretty good too! In 3 Months I have to go back to the doctor to recheck my labs. I hope they will be better by then!

  1. Organic beet juice sounds like it will be beneficial…and taste good! I have juiced beets and enjoyed the taste. Mixed with some carrots into juice. 😀
